		<description>awww. This story made me think of our Lola&#039;s Sherry, our first Standardbred, bought from the Amish, trained for track, then retired due to injury as a 3 year old. When my parents sold my buckskin quarter horse 3 months before the fair, I took Sherry, put her under western saddle, and she did western pleasure, goat tying, and barrel racing. The audience laughed at her gangliness (we were in Quarter Horse country), but we took a ribbon because what a stride. 

Sherry took such good care of all of us, damn, now I&#039;m crying.</description>
